Holiday promotion

Dear friends,

I have been a bit quiet on this newsletter front since I am locked in on getting the Lion of War series ready for release in full. All five of the books have been significantly reworked and better match my original vision for them, so I am extremely excited to get to share them with you. Thank you for your prayers on that front, and for the many years of support.

It's extremely difficult to market a faith-based book to men; there is a reason that around 80% of the Christian bookstore market is aimed at women. Over the years, promoting my work has relied heavily on word-of-mouth from my readers. With that in mind, would you be willing to help launch this new publishing imprint with Kavod Family Ministries (my new publisher)?

Amazon is the most important bookstore in the world, and my launch books with Kavod, "The Boundary of Blood" and “War Prayers,” are available exclusively there. They offered the best printing and distribution/fulfillment terms for a small startup indie publisher.

Would you be willing to mark your calendar for our first promotional effort?

Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Amazon sees its busiest traffic of the year, and its algorithm is actively searching for "hot" products that sell well so they can promote it on their side.

Would you be willing to purchase a copy of “The Boundary of Blood” and/or “War Prayers” between Friday, November 29th and Monday, December 2nd? If you have already purchased these books, thank you! If you enjoyed them, would you be willing to leave a five star review between now and then? That helps the algorithm as well.

Even if you have already bought a copy, would you consider buying another one during those dates as a Christmas gift for someone else? Perhaps for a guy you know who might resonate with the story, your pastor, men's ministry director, small group leader, etc. The more copies that are ordered by customers from all locations in the country, the better shot we have of getting picked up by the Amazon promotional algorithm.

The books will be be available at a sale price during that window to keep the purchase cost as low as possible.

Kavod Family has demonstrated a great deal of faith and belief in the ministry of these books, so it would mean the world if there was a strong response. I will send a couple of reminders between now and then so it is on your radar.
